Job Description

Join Staples as a Sales Account Manager and lead the charge in driving revenue growth for Quill in New York. This remote position allows you to build strategic partnerships with key customers in the public sector and commercial markets, all while being part of an inclusive and supportive culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of new revenue from new customers
  • Build territory strategy and exceed revenue goals
  • Qualify prospects based on customer size and potential
  • Schedule and meet with prospective customers
  • Utilize marketing collateral for presentations
  • Attend conferences and events to gain new customers
  • Create and present custom pricing solutions
  • Leverage education contracts for customer acquisition
  • Ensure smooth transition to account management team
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Seek ways to improve through coaching
  • Make a positive impact on company culture
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to drive revenue

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years sales experience
  • 6 months of relevant experience in the public sector
  • Ability to cover a territory of New York City and surrounding areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven business development experience
