Job Description

As the Manager of Business Intelligence at City National Bank, you will lead the development and implementation of strategic BI solutions, oversee daily BI operations, and manage a team dedicated to enhancing data delivery efficiency. Your role will involve engaging with stakeholders to meet their data needs while fostering an inclusive and high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans and manages BI needs & development for strategic BI platforms
  • Provides strategic and tactical input on data warehouse architecture
  • Evaluates, selects and implements new technologies for reporting and data modeling
  • Builds, leads and develops the BI team
  • Manages team workload and performance appraisals
  • Interacts with business stakeholders to understand data needs
  • Fosters relationships to support customer service levels
  • Ensures compliance with banking laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of leading Business Intelligence teams
  • 5+ years of Finance and Banking industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Supervision experience
  • Knowledge of System Life Cycles
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle 11G, SAP Business Objects BI 3.1 or higher, SAP Business Objects Data Services 4.0
  • Outstanding English written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
