Job Description
Fisher Industries is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to efficiently operate various machinery, perform maintenance, and ensure safety compliance. This role involves travel and requires a strong mechanical knowledge of equipment, along with the ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
Assist with setup and tear down of plants
Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment
Maintain general housekeeping of equipment and plants
Lift objects weighing 80 lbs regularly
Use a shovel to move material
Perform safety compliance according to MSHA and company policy
Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
Able to operate equipment efficiently
Mechanical knowledge of equipment
Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
Acceptable MVR according to company policy
MSHA certification willingness (company pays for it)
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Work well in a team environment
Travel will be required
