Ultrasound Tech Job Details

• Location: Hospital setting in Middle Township, New Jersey
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No on-call required)
• Employment Type: Local, 13-week healthcare assignment
• Hours per Week: 40
• Start Date: ASAP
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $3,000

Ultrasound Technician Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech or Echo Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Registered through ARDMS or CCI (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or equivalent)
• Proficient with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Strong knowledge of cardiac ultrasound, echocardiography, and digital ultrasound equipment

Ultrasound Tech Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound tests, including stress and transesophageal echocardiograms, following American Society of Echocardiography and ICAEL standards
• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac ultrasound procedures and operation of ultrasound equipment
• Efficiently and accurately complete daily scheduled echocardiograms for a diverse patient population
• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and clearly explain processes to ensure patient comfort
• Navigate and document all procedures within the EPIC EMR system
