Key Responsibilities
Oversight and coordination of design review and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure
Support vendors, contractors, and teams involved in construction and commissioning of various systems
Develop and review electrical and mechanical component testing and commissioning documents
Ensure compliance with safety practices and policies during commissioning
Provide comprehensive weekly reporting of project status, lessons learned, and program improvements
Required Qualifications
5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or 5 years of relevant discipline work experience
High technical competency in mechanical or electrical or control systems utilized in critical infrastructures
Ability to understand design concept and intent by reviewing mechanical or electrical design documentation
Ability to develop and review commissioning documentation such as test plans, scripts, and reports
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook
Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and highly organized
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for critical infrastructures
Ability to read and edit construction documents
Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components
