Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, MO. This role allows you to positively impact patients' lives while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Position patients for treatment accurately
Administer prescribed doses of radiation using radiation therapy equipment
Perform regular equipment checks and troubleshoot issues
Review patient charts and confirm treatment plan compliance
Follow radiation protection principles
Maintain records of radiation dosages and patient reactions
Conduct treatment sessions independently
Enter data into computer and adjust equipment as needed
Observe and reassure patients during treatment
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT Certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required
