Key Responsibilities
Manage and direct the preparation and presentation of all foods
Maintain and follow all local Health Department food codes
Ensure food preparation licenses and training are maintained
Hire, train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
Communicate clearly with guests and staff
Analyze feedback from guests and implement improvements
Monitor staff performance and product quality
Create and implement new menus based on trends
Develop innovative menu selections for events
Maintain food quality and adherence to health codes
Assist in estimating annual food budget
Required Qualifications
High School degree or equivalent
5+ years experience in restaurant kitchen(s)
1+ years experience in restaurant supervisory/leadership role
Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands
Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary education degree
Previous Executive Chef experience
Prior kitchen experience in hotel/resort industry
Understanding of sanitation-related issues
