Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct the preparation and presentation of all foods
  • Maintain and follow all local Health Department food codes
  • Ensure food preparation licenses and training are maintained
  • Hire, train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
  • Communicate clearly with guests and staff
  • Analyze feedback from guests and implement improvements
  • Monitor staff performance and product quality
  • Create and implement new menus based on trends
  • Develop innovative menu selections for events
  • Maintain food quality and adherence to health codes
  • Assist in estimating annual food budget

Required Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in restaurant kitchen(s)
  • 1+ years experience in restaurant supervisory/leadership role
  • Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Culinary education degree
  • Previous Executive Chef experience
  • Prior kitchen experience in hotel/resort industry
  • Understanding of sanitation-related issues
  • Proven teamwork
