Operating Room RN Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Open to training in ENT, cataract, and C-section procedures (prior experience not required)

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients of all ages (infant to geriatric)
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary surgical team, including RNs, registered nurse first assists, CSTs, and support staff
• Assist in a range of surgical procedures: orthopedic, trauma, ENT, cataract removal, and C-sections
• Maintain a 1:1 RN-to-patient ratio in the operating room
• Participate in on-call rotation for evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulatory standards
