Job Description

As the Manager of Operations for the Behavioral Health Utilization Management Specialty team, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance, and drive performance improvements while fostering a positive work culture. Your leadership will be essential in supporting the clinical team and enhancing service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and performance oversight
  • Manage a singular team or functional area
  • Establish operational objectives and participate in group objectives
  • Develop and support non-clinical processes for the clinical BH UM team
  • Oversee caseload management and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Develop production standards and monitor staff productivity
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to non-clinical staff
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive solutions

Required Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Understanding of management approaches (work scheduling, coaching, risk management)
  • Functional expertise in the area of responsibility
  • 3 years of experience in a customer experience environment
  • 3 years of experience in a Call Center environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
