Join Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant as a New Graduate RN where you'll receive comprehensive training through the Nurse Residency Program. This role offers a supportive environment for new nurses to develop clinical skills and provide high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient condition during admission and each shift as scheduled
Perform procedures and document care in the patient medical record
Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient for responses
Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate their needs
Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans
Required Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
No previous experience needed
Preferred Qualifications
Other Certifications may be required during employment
Some travel may be needed for training
