Key Responsibilities
Implements physician orders and administers medications
Starts IVs and performs treatments, procedures, and special tests
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests
Assesses and evaluates patient needs and responses to care
Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries
Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care
Directs and guides ancillary personnel
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving tools
