Key Responsibilities
Provide speech therapy services to patients with speech and language problems
Work under the direction of the attending physician
Participate in care planning with family, nurses, or other responsible persons as necessary
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited institution
Licensed and in good standing in the state of practice
Current CPR Certification
Minimum of two years of experience as a Speech Therapist in a multidisciplinary setting
Knowledge of speech therapy principles, concepts, and methodologies appropriate for terminally ill patients
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to develop and maintain rapport with patients and families
Ability to travel 100% daily
