Job Description

Join Southern New Hampshire Health as a Cardiology Supervisor, where you'll lead the Non-Invasive Cardiology department, ensuring high-quality patient care through supervision and training. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, and facilitate daily operations of the Non-Invasive Cardiology department
  • Perform simple and complex diagnostic Cardiac testing
  • Implement Medical Center and Departmental policies
  • Provide clinical oversight for Cardiac Sonography and Non-Invasive team
  • Provide training, mentorship, and perform audits for ECC Sonography staff
  • Ensure studies meet accreditation and departmental standards
  • Communicate effectively with employees, patients, and family members
  • Collaborate with Cardiology Manager to meet departmental performance goals
  • Assess quality of unit-based staff studies and resolve quality issues
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and staff performance evaluations
  • Operate as a clinical role model through the provision of direct patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an accredited cardiac ultrasound Program
  • Minimum eligibility for RDCS Boards and/or potential to earn RDCS credential within 1 year
  • Current BLS certification
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Working knowledge of Philips Ultrasound Systems and Quinton Stress Labs
  • Ability to make independent clinical decisions within scope of practice
  • Able to prioritize and organize work independently
  • Must be able to perform stress echocardiograms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completes all major competency verifications on a yearly basis
  • Able to hear conversational tones, phone messages, and equipment alarms and use a stethoscope
