Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of MRI exams in accordance with accepted standards of practice
  • Administer contrast agents
  • Manage department workflow to ensure safe and timely care of all patients
  • Adhere to TJC, ACR, and departmental standards
  • Provide reassurance to patients for cooperation during exams
  • Document patient care accurately
  • Maintain appropriate CEUs for continued registry by ARRT
  • Interact professionally with patients, family, and staff

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Registered or registry eligible
  • Primary or secondary certification by the ARRT in MRI
  • BCLS certification required
  • Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Siemens, Epic, and McKesson PACS
