Key Responsibilities
Administers nursing program in long term care facility
Facilitates optimization of geriatric care process
Responsible for overall quality of care by nursing personnel
Advises medical staff and administrators on nursing service
Monitors operations of nursing staff for compliance
Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
Provides nursing care to residents as needed
Develops and implements marketing activities and community events
Required Qualifications
Five years nursing experience required
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
Knowledge of nursing practice act and standards
Working knowledge of administrative and management techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
Housing with Services, housing and urban development (HUD), and/or assisted living experience
