Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Perform FAI/CVI inspections on all fleet vehicles
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on fleet vehicles
Perform maintenance repairs to ensure safety and reliability
Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups
Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to specifications
Document all work performed on work orders
Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs
Conduct electrical repairs and welding projects as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Current and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

Medium / Heavy duty truck technical training
3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair OR 2 years of schooling and 1 year of experience
Annual Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Brake Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ASE certifications; Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks
609 HVAC Certification
Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software
