Job Description

Join Intuit as a Business Tax Filer and leverage your expertise in tax preparation to assist customers with their tax returns. This remote role offers the chance to impact clients' financial well-being while working with a highly regarded company dedicated to powering prosperity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations
  • Provide tax advice and full service business return preparation
  • Interact with customers using video communications software
  • Document customer interactions
  • Work towards meeting company performance metrics
  • Utilize government websites and professional resources to provide accurate information

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business tax preparation experience
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws
  • Experience preparing 1065 and/or 1120-S tax returns
  • Minimum of 20 clients per season using commercial tax software
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Knowledge of Circular 230
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience
  • Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Ability to obtain related state licenses, certificates, or permits
