Correctional/Nurse Practitioner hiring asap for part time role!

Shift description: Two ten-hour shifts/week, no evenings, weekends, or holidays, with some flexibility in start/end times.

Job Description

• Provide on-site primary care services part-time to the male population at this correctional facility.

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations.

• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in alignment with evidence-based practices.

• Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments within scope of practice and facility guidelines.

• Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment compliance.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, and correctional officers to coordinate patient care.

Education/Licenses Needed

• Required certifications and degrees: Ohio license, healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification, board certification, Drug Enforcement Administration certification
