Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct respiratory care to patients in all areas of the hospital
Perform respiratory care procedures according to physician orders and patient care plans
Respond to emergency situations immediately and perform appropriate patient assessments
Demonstrate proficiency with various respiratory devices
Initiate and operate ventilators as needed
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree or Graduate of a Technical School
1 Year of Experience
Kansas Respiratory Therapist License
BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
1 Year of Position-Related Experience
American Association of Respiratory Care Certified Pulmonary Function Tech or Registered Pulmonary Function Tech
2 years clinical experience for new grads acceptable in lieu of 1 year of work experience
