Start Date: ASAP

Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (19:00 – 07:30), every other weekend required

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA. This role is responsible for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in an acute patient setting. The NICU RN provides direct patient care, facilitates patient and family education, and supports transitions of care. The ideal candidate delivers holistic and individualized care, integrating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors into the plan of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for neonatal patients
• Coordinate and deliver evidence-based nursing care in a Level III or IV NICU environment
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Participate in voluntary call shifts and float as needed

Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting
• Charge nurse and delivery experience strongly preferred
