Join Disneyland Resort as a Mechanical Engineer and help create happiness by supporting the engineering of ride and show systems. This role focuses on troubleshooting, enhancing system reliability, and managing small-scale mechanical projects, all while working in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate technical and management aspects of Sustaining Engineering projects.
Communicate work status and impact on Resort availability to management, customers, partners, and cast members.
Perform ride element performance analysis and calculations.
Assist in resolving technical conflicts with vendors and shops.
Make engineering recommendations for resolving operational and mechanical problems.
Produce engineering design, change, repair, and disposition documents.
Ensure successful completion of Sustaining Engineering projects.
Required Qualifications
Able to balance multiple projects/assignments concurrently.
Able to communicate technical concepts in writing.
Ability to communicate sophisticated issues to non-technical peers and management.
Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Material properties experience in design.
Shown understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Systems reliability knowledge.
