Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Classroom Aide and make a tangible difference by supporting students with specialized needs in SPED classrooms. This role offers an opportunity to positively impact young minds while growing your own skills in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plan (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support using positive reinforcement
Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff for effective support
Assist with personal care or hygiene as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy experience
Behaviour Technician experience
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid certification
CPI or Pro Act Training
