In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to help residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals
• Work closely with PTs, OTs, nurses, and caregivers to ensure seamless care
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Active New York SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric settings preferred, but new grads are welcome
• Excellent clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
