Key Responsibilities
Verify, prepare, and dispense prescription orders for ambulatory patients
Counsel and educate patients on medication treatment and disease states
Provide immunizations to community members
Supervise the activities of pharmacy technicians
Required Qualifications
PharmD Degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
Current Pharmacy licensure in Texas
Current Pharmacy Preceptor licensure or eligibility
Current pharmacy-based immunization certification (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of an ASHP-accredited Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Community Pharmacy Residency
Equivalent experience of three years in community pharmacy
