Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of control system projects: scope, design, installation, testing, and training
Develop and review Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) software and hardware designs
Conduct hazard analyses (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis [FMEA], fault tree) and root cause investigations
Guide and mentor engineers and technical staff during field testing and commissioning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define technical direction
Lead design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Manage multiple projects, reporting on scope, schedule, budget, and risks
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in industrial control systems design and support
Proven leadership in managing technical teams and complex projects
Deep knowledge of Safety PLCs, fail-safe design, and safety-rated systems
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in theme park or similar high-reliability environments
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of NEC, UL 508A, and facility electrical design
California PE license or willingness to obtain
Familiarity with Agile project management and adaptive life cycles
Experience with scripting (C, C#, VB, JS) and data analytics
