Guardian Flight is seeking an experienced Fixed Wing Pilot Instructor to conduct training for its Pilatus PC12 fleet. The role involves classroom, simulator, and in-flight training, ensuring pilots are competent in air medical flight operations. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage classroom training for new-hire and recurrent pilots
Plan classroom assignments and manage daily training schedule
Conduct training in accordance with FAA-Approved Training Manual
Instruct on proper use of company documentation and cargo/passenger techniques
Perform simulator instruction for training courses
Coordinate with trainee pilots for flight operations
Ensure all required flight logs and records are properly completed
Maintain knowledge of aviation regulations and company policies
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2,500 hours of flight time
1,000 Hours PIC airplane
500 Cross-country hours
100 Night hours
100 Hours of actual or simulated instrument time
100 hours in a Pilatus PC12 aircraft
Commercial, instrument and multi-engine land licenses
FAA Second Class Medical issued within the last 12 months
Unexpired/valid driver's license
Instructing background and experience
Familiarity with Garmin avionics
