Job Description
Lincoln Electric seeks a Designer/Drafter to support Plant Engineering by implementing capital projects and providing engineering support through 3D modeling and 2D drafting. This role offers a chance to contribute to innovative engineering solutions in a leading global company known for its welding expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with creation/modification of 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and store electronic files using document management systems
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Assume additional responsibilities in support of department goals
Required Qualifications
High School Education or GED
3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Proficiency in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Exposure to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Organized and detail-oriented
