Staff Nurse

*Banyan Treatment Centers is currently recruiting for full-time nursing professionals to join our team in Waelder, Texas as a Staff Nurse (LVN and RNs) .*


*Schedules Available:*
* 12 hours shifts, night shift availability is strongly preferred.

The staff nurse completes assigned nursing related services for each client. He/She is responsible for nursing assessments, providing routine nursing care, review of medication logs and assisting in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician.\**Banyan Treatment Centers offers an environment for growth, not only for our clients, but for our professionals, too. * *Qualifications/Requirements:\**
* *A passion for the field of behavioral/mental health*
* *Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health is preferred but not required. Our management team is able to offer extensive training so long as there’s a willingness to learn.*
* *License to practice nursing in the state of Texas, required.*
* *Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of Nursing, required.*
* *Experience with the EMR, KIPU, is preferred but not required.*
* *Ability to reliably commute to facility, required: 4168 County Road 444 Waelder, TX 78959, USA*
* *The ideal Staff Nurse candidate has nursing experience in acute care, detox, and /or mental health facilities, strong assessment and organizational skills, and is able to prioritize care and communicate with the treatment team. He/she is able to establish a therapeutic relationship with clients and their families, display good listening and observation skills, exhibit skills sufficient to adequately gather and record client data specific to current and past medical status, and\_ form objective impression of signs, symptoms and patient c\_omplaints and their implications concerning treatment planning.
