Job Description
Join Kaiser as a Licensed Masters Mental Health Professional on the Child Team, where you'll provide essential mental health services to children and families. Collaborate with a dedicated team to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver impactful psychotherapy, all while contributing to a supportive and inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and evaluates clinical treatment programs
Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Instructs and counsels patients and families on therapeutic regimens
Prepares intake summaries and maintains ongoing confidential records
Collaborates with physicians in evaluating patients for psychotropic medications
Supervises post-Masters fellows and associate clinicians as needed
Reports safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare from a clinical track, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement within 24 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiar with DSM-V for diagnosis
Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of psychiatric conditions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of social service agencies and professional standards related to member treatment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous post-license experience on a psychiatric treatment team
Experience in crisis intervention and psychotherapy
