Performs decontamination of equipment, instruments and completes sterilization process. Maintains a positive and professional image when interacting with patients, their families, physicians, employees and general public.

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, Variable shift, 40 hours per week.
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications
Coursework/Training Graduation from a Surgical Technology Program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAAHEP) or other program accredited by the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist or completion of a Surgical Technician Military Training program.
Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Or
Upon hire: National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing
Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Operating Room experience for candidates who have graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology Program or have completed other accredited programs by the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist or completion of a Surgical Technician Military Training program. Candidates with equivalent other or at least six months of on the job clinical training must have minimum one year operating room experience scrubbing on surgical procedures.
