Job Description
Join Optum as a Pharmacy Technician and play a crucial role in improving health outcomes. You will manage medication inventory, assist in prescription processing, and ensure efficient operations while enjoying competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification
Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units
Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions as needed
Required Qualifications
Current Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Washington
Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday from 6am-2:30pm PST with potential overtime and Saturday shifts
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite
Previous experience working in a mail order setting
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
