Job Description
As a Transportation Supervisor at Sysco, you will oversee delivery staff operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while managing schedules and resources effectively. Your leadership will drive operational efficiency and enhance team morale.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Manage labor hours and consumable supplies within budget
Prepare work schedules and oversee company asset utilization
Communicate with Sales Management and Marketing Associates
Monitor associate morale and maintain open communication channels
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years related experience and/or training
Completion of Sysco approved defensive driving program
Ability to read, comprehend, write and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management
