As the Clinical Nursing Director for Maternal Child Health, you will lead and coordinate nursing services, ensuring quality care and compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with various departments to implement innovative practices and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, directs, evaluates, and coordinates inpatient nursing services
Collaborates with CNO and medical center management to implement best practices
Coordinates patient transitions across the continuum of care
Ensures compliance with policies, practices, and procedures
Mentors nursing managers and develops leadership skills
Manages budget and resource allocations for designated departments
Enhances nursing practice and patient outcomes through effective use of committees
Required Qualifications
Minimum seven (7) years of nursing experience in patient care
Minimum five (5) years of management experience
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Masters in Nursing or Bachelors in Nursing with Masters degree in related field
Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to lead and manage through influence and change
Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
Magnet/shared governance experience
Managing in a collective bargaining environment
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing
