Key Responsibilities
Evaluate students through observation and interviews
Develop tailored strategies to enhance student participation
Collaborate with educational teams to create IEPs
Supervise occupational therapy assistants
Document OT services and student progress
Provide direct therapy services to improve self-care and social skills
Required Qualifications
National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy
Current and active Illinois license to practice occupational therapy
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in school-based therapy
Knowledge of assistive technology
Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
