A Wound, Burn and Ostomy Physician provides specialized medical care for patients with wounds, burns, and ostomies in post-acute care settings such as skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. They conduct patient assessments, perform wound treatments including debridement, and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop effective care plans. This role emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient education, and delivering quality care primarily to geriatric populations.

Advantage Surgical and Wound Care has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time/Part-Time Wound Care Specialist (1-4 days/week) to work in/near the Stockton, CA area. Qualified candidates will round at multiple facilities that are located within a designated territory.
Our experienced medical providers perform rounds in Skilled Nursing Facilities, providing wound care to residents of post-acute rehab settings, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and long-term acute care hospitals.
