Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during the designated shift.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality.
  • Collaborate with management to create a teamwork environment.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery.
  • Provide recommendations related to staff training and development.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse
  • Bachelor's Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date)
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date)
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date)
  • STABLE (must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date)
