Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
  • Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans
  • Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans
  • Engage in collaborative care with team members

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
  • Current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligibility for licensure by the time of hire
  • Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care
  • Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health
  • Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outpatient individual and family therapy
  • Familiarity with culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments
  • Experience in crisis planning and case consultations
