Job Description

Join TEKsystems as a Bilingual Patient Service Representative in Glendale, CA, where you'll handle patient calls, verify insurance, and schedule appointments in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Schedule patient appointments and verify insurance eligibility
  • Collect co-pays and assist with billing inquiries
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems
  • Provide clear and empathetic communication to patients regarding services, procedures, and insurance processes
  • Support front desk operations and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams
  • Adhere to company policies regarding attendance, punctuality, and professionalism

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong knowledge of HMO and PPO insurance processes
  • Proficient in scheduling systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and high call volumes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology
  • Experience with patient charting and insurance verification
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
