ICU Nursing Job Details

• Location: Exeter, NH 03833 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Community Hospital, 10-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:30pm), every third weekend required
• Hours: 36 hours per week (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Float Requirement: None

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (critical care nurse)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH or compact state)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Ability to work every third weekend
• Strong clinical skills in medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and pediatric stabilization
• Previous BILH employees must have a 6-month separation before reapplying

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill adults and select pediatric patients in a 10-bed ICU
• Manage patients with medical emergencies, post-surgical needs, respiratory failure, sepsis, and acute stroke (telestroke/tele-neurology support)
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and specialty services (cardiac, surgery, etc.)
• Stabilize pediatric patients prior to transfer to tertiary centers
• Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning
