We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong commitment to patient care. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Skills

Proficient in IV insertion techniques and monitoring patient responses.
Knowledge of coding practices relevant to surgical procedures.
Familiarity with operating within a Level I Trauma Center environment is preferred.
Experience with dermal fillers is a plus, particularly for roles involving cosmetic surgery.
Ability to ventilate patients effectively during surgeries requiring respiratory support.
Understanding of Workers Compensation law as it pertains to surgical procedures and patient care.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and education of patients.
Experience in long-term care settings is beneficial but not required.
Previous experience in a teaching hospital setting is advantageous.
