Job Description
Join Bethesda Health as a Nurse Manager - RN, where you'll lead a dedicated nursing team to provide exceptional resident care in a supportive long-term care environment. This role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and maintaining high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality resident care
Assess patients and manage care plans
Coordinate with healthcare professionals
Maintain clinical competencies
Support staff development and teamwork
Complete rounds to assess residents and care
Communicate concerns to the Director of Nursing
Manage staff and discipline as necessary
Develop measurable staff goals
Direct and manage direct patient care
Document and communicate care plans
Monitor pharmacy recommendations monthly
Required Qualifications
Current RN license in the state
Two years of long-term care supervisory experience
Three to five years of long-term care experience or similar nursing experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques
Ability to transfer and move residents weighing 200+lbs
Manual dexterity and coordination
Ability to perform necessary documentation
Visual acuity
Ability to manage a diversity of activities
