Job Description

Join Newark Wellness Center as a Board-Certified Pediatrician, where you'll provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population. Work collaboratively in a supportive environment that emphasizes quality care and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional medical services to patients.
  • Assist in the administrative and professional direction of a medical specialty service.
  • Supervise Mid-level Practitioners/Certified Nurse Midwives.
  • Practice evidence-based medicine and stay up to date with current standards of care.
  • Manage time and patient flow effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to improve quality of care.
  • Teach patients, families, and staff about good health practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved residency in an appropriate specialty.
  • Possession of a current valid license to practice medicine in California.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in area of specialty.
  • Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association or PALS or ACLS.
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Number.
