Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to all customers
  • Greet patients and check them in and out
  • Collect appropriate co-pays and adhere to cash handling policies
  • Schedule appointments and verify correct visit types
  • Manage waiting room cleanliness and communicate with patients
  • Work with back office staff for smooth patient flow
  • Resolve service issues and complaints
  • Assist co-workers and team members with duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of experience in general office procedures
  • 1+ years of Microsoft applications experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience working with an electronic health record
  • Medical office setting experience
  • Knowledge/understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Independent means of transportation during work hours for job related tasks
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
