Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Waimea, HI. You'll provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments
Educate patients and families about IR procedures
Administer and monitor moderate sedation
Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms during procedures
Assist physicians during procedures
Recognize and respond to complications
Provide post-procedure monitoring and recovery care
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments
Collaborate with IR technologists and radiologists
Adhere to hospital safety protocols
Required Qualifications
One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
PALS or ENPC Certifications
ACLS Certification
RCIS/RCES Certification
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
