Job Duties: - Operate GE 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners to perform diagnostic imaging exams per physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures while maintaining safety, comfort, and adherence to MRI protocols.
- Perform and document imaging procedures using EPIC EMR , ensuring accuracy and timely communication of results.
- Rotate through varied shift times, including daytime and evening shifts; participate in required on-call rotation and weekend/holiday coverage .
- Float to other Central Aspirus locations as needed to support MRI coverage across the system.
- Assess image quality and perform necessary adjustments to ensure diagnostic clarity.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and conduct daily quality control per facility and manufacturer standards.
- Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and clinical staff to ensure cohesive and high-quality patient care.
- Handle emergent and routine exams professionally, maintaining composure in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
Qualifications: - ARRT (MR) certification – Required
- BLS (AHA) certification – Required
- Minimum of 3 years' MRI experience in a clinical setting – Required
- Experience with GE MRI systems (1.5T and 3T) – Required
- EPIC EMR proficiency – Required
- Associate Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology – Required
- Ability to work varied shifts, float as needed, and participate in required call and holiday rotations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong knowledge of MRI safety practices and diagnostic protocols
