Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2

EMR: Meditech

Float: May float to Day Surgery

Requirements:

1–3 years PACU experience

Experience in a Level II Trauma hospital

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Typical Procedures:

IV starts, drips, arterial lines, pain blocks

Other:

Weekend and call requirements are variable

All RN-staffed unit
