Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional service to all customers
Greet patients and check them in and out
Ensure demographics including insurance information are correct
Collect appropriate co-pays and adhere to all cash handling policies
Schedule appointments as necessary
Manage waiting room cleanliness and communicate pertinent information to patients
Work with back office staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Resolve service issues and complaints
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience
1+ years of experience in general office procedures
1+ years of Microsoft applications experience
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
Experience working with an electronic health record
Medical office setting experience
Knowledge/understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding
Knowledge of medical terminology
Independent means of transportation during work hours for job related tasks
Bilingual in Spanish/English
