Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a School Aide and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special needs. Work under teacher supervision to provide support, engage students, and foster a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plan (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support using positive reinforcement
Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff for consistent student support
Support with personal care or hygiene as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy
Behaviour Technician Experience or AAC Devices
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid
CPI or Pro Act Training
