Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients receiving radiation treatments
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in coordination with physicians and radiation therapists
Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care
Monitor and document patient responses to therapy and communicate changes to the care team
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to safety and infection control standards within the radiation oncology department
Required Qualifications
Active RN License (in good standing, in the state of assignment)
BLS Certification
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an acute care or oncology setting
Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in Radiation Oncology or Oncology Nursing
