36- or 48-hour contracts
CHARGE NURSE EXP IS REQUIRED
2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.
Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
ACTIVE NY License & ALL active RN licenses.
RTO MUST be included
MR Exp Required: EPIC
Job Description:
Unit: ICU
Shift: 6:30p-7a (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex Heart experience HIGHLY preferred - Manager looking at these as priority
Floating Required: Yes
Scrub Color: Navy
Unit Specifics:
Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14
Floating required if needed: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
Common patient diagnosis: Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx
Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun).
